2011 Indiana State Fair
A big thanks to Milt Yakey for organizing the State Fair booth and the tree/wreath contest. Several ICTGA members helped educate the public about the real tree and passed out the 2011 Buyer's guides. The ICTGA booth is great exposure for our organization to promote our product, the real tree. If you have never worked the booth please consider doing so next year.
Children were given the opportunity to decorate ornaments that will be sent with the trees for troops. All the ornaments were used to decorate one tree at the booth. Money was raised for the T4T program through a donation box.
Hensler Nursery was awarded Grand Champion tree with their Fraser Fir. Congratulations!
2011 Gift & Hobby Show
The annual Christmas Gift and Hobby Show will be held in the West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis November 9-13. ICTGA will have a booth to promote the use of a real Christmas tree as well as the Trees for Troops program. Members volunteered at the booth to educate the public as well as distribute our association buyers guides.
